Continuing the tradition of the »Situationists« of the 1960s, Wehrmann resumes exploration, conversion and poetic appropriation of urban space but unlike the »Situationists« he doesn't investigate artistic conditions of space constructions on foot but by bike. His work results both from careful observation and misappropriation of plastic details in urban areas. He broaches the issue of public spaces as conflict zones and illustrates, that via stairways, ramps, walls, railings and rolls or wheels it is possible to reclaim new social and aesthetic space.
